Stroll along Front Street's waterfront sidewalk while admiring the handsome homes and neighborhoods on your way to the 18th-century town center bursting with local stores, eateries, and historical sites. From here, you can book off-shore fishing charters and boat tours or hop aboard the ferry over to Shackleford Banks or Cape Lookout.

The townhome comes entirely appointed for family comfort and carefree coastal living. In the mornings, start your day with a cup of coffee on the private balcony. In the evenings, fire up the grille for a fresh seafood feast out on the back patio. The full kitchen is equipped with all the major appliances and accessories you'll need for painless at-home meal prep. Intelligent TVs are equipped in the living room and primary bedroom. The primary bedroom also includes a dedicated desk for remote working. Home essentials include central air-conditioning, complimentary WiFi, and a private washer/dryer.

Located in Beaufort, this vacation home is by the sea. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Rachel Carson Reserve and Hoop Pole Creek Nature Trail, while North Carolina Maritime Museum and Core Sound Waterfowl Museum and Heritage Center are cultural highlights. Mount Maker Charters and North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores are also worth visiting.

When to book & When to go:

  • The earlier your group can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The best properties are reserved very early. Booking your rental six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental property.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal NC. To get the best value, change your group's trip dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer pleasant weather, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Havelock vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • Some hosts offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Ask your host or property manager if discounts are available for your family before you book.
  • Property management companies typically offer customers an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses.   • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like troublesome visitors disrupting your peace and quiet. Practice the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and attractions you would have not otherwise known about!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to rent beach equipment, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • At departure, take a walk-through to make sure you have not forget anything. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Property owners rely on good ratings to stimulate future bookings. They'll be grateful for your review.
