  • In the Havelock area, The earlier you can reserve a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The best vacation rentals are reserved very early. Reserving your vacation property 6-12 months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental.
  • To get the most suitable rental within budget, we strongly suggest reserving in the Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at popular attractions and restaurants.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Property management companies often offer their guests an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional fuel expenses.   • Upon check-out, complete a walk-through to make sure you have not forget any personal items. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the property a final time and keep an eye out for damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the host is not available, take photos of the property to record its condition.
  • Did you have a terrific vacation? Most rental managers make it easy for clients to provide comments. If your rental and/or property management company was terrific, they would love to hear it.
