About the Area

Located in Pine Knoll Shores, this vacation home is on the beach. Fort Macon State Park and Beaufort Historic Site are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure Golf and Raceway and Country Club of the Crystal Coast. North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores and Flatwaters Paddling are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at popular Havelock attractions and restaurants. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Havelock vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager if your vacationing group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Booking websites typically offer their guests an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra fuel expenses.   • Go through the property a final time and scan for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager isn't available, ensure that you take photos of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your family have a terrific time? Most vacation rental websites make it easy for guests to provide feedback. If your rental and/or host was fantastic, they always love to hear your praise.
