Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Havelock vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
- In the Havelock area, The earlier your group can book, the better your selection will be. The best vacation homes are reserved very early. Booking your vacation rental six - twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your rental home.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host if your family qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
- Property managers typically offer their guests an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for details.
- Often, property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Havelock area visitors guides which often include money-saving deals, either offered directly by local companies, or through a partnership between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Havelock visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.
Selecting the perfect rental home in Indian Beach:
- Begin by selecting a vacation week and a budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your family requires. A Wave From It All - First Floor Condo has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rentals search.
- Precise information about bedrooms and bed counts & types is generally accessible on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, contact the property management company before booking the vacation property. Note that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds.
- If there's a specific Havelock destination you crave, keep an eye out for rentals that are either nearby, or those that cater to your requirements.
- Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. Make certain to ask about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
- If your family is traveling with pets, you'll need to search for a property that allows animals. Get details on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Usually, hosts require additional pet deposits and fees.
Tips for a smooth stay:
- Review check in & check out procedures before leaving home. Add a note with the instructions to your smartphone, and take a printed copy.

- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can frequently help. Who better to ask where to rent beach equipment, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
- Lock your vacation home while you're out and about. Protect the owner's property and your things!
- Re-check the vacation property to make sure that you've packed all of your family's items at departure. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Remember to leave feedback! Property owners rely on great reviews to compel more reservations. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your feedback find their best rental home. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to remedy it.
