How to get the best Beaufort rental experience:
When to visit Beaufort & When to reserve a Beaufort rental home:

- In the Havelock area, The earlier your group can book, the easier your search will be. The best properties are booked early. Booking your rental 6-12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental home.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host if your family qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
- Property management companies frequently offer their guests an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for additional information.
- Often, rental management companies supply Havelock area visitor guide magazines which include money-saving offers, either offered directly by local businesses, or by way of a partnership between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Havelock area magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.
Choosing the best vacation home in the Havelock area:
- First, have your family decide on dates and a max budget.
- Note the number beds and what type of bedroom configuration your family needs. Coastal Cottage, walk to downtown Beaufort, close to beaches, pet friendly. has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
- Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is often available on booking websites. Otherwise, reach out to the property management company before reserving the home. Remember that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds and bunks. You'll need to determine what is right for your vacation group.
- If there's an individual Havelock beach you are crazy about, keep an eye out for properties that are either close by, or those that cater to your desires.
- Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. Make certain to inquire about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
- Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Additional pet fees or charges could be applied to your agreement.
Have a fantastic stay:
- Be sure you get the host's contact number and entry/exit procedures for your rental.
- To make certain that damages are not linked to your visit, make note of any problem areas when you arrive. Call the host immediately to report your findings. If there is a dispute, having the recorded problems and contact attempts will be valuable.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, A/V setup or kitchen appliance. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents a lot of difficulties.
- Respecting quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You'll increase your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are usually an incredible source for finding the best local beaches and restaurants.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can typically help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
- Keep your rental home locked while you are gone! Don't let burglars ruin your vacation.
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the property to confirm you've collected all personal items. Make sure to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Inspect the property a final time and scan for any damage. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the property manager isn't available, remember to take video of the rental to record its condition.
- Remember to leave feedback! Property managers rely on great feedback to drive more bookings. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your review and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to solve it.
