Welcome to our ''5 Star'' energy rated vacation home. This home was constructed with energy efficiency and fun in mind. ''ISLAND TIME'' is located about a mile from town along Coast Guard Rd. The new bicycle path is right outside of our Dolphin Ridge development. It's a great addition to EI. You can rent a bicycle and discover the entire island or you can relax and savor the private pool. We also have our own personal golf cart. It makes getting to the beach a lot of fun. If you prefer a leisurely walk to the beach; it is only 4 short blocks. Along the way you may want to pause and gaze at one of the various ponds overflowing with wildlife. As you will discover, there are many bespoke features that make this home a state of the art, environmentally friendly, ideal family vacation home.

About the Area

Located in Emerald Isle, this cottage is in the city center and near the beach. Emerald Forest Golf and Bogue Inlet Fishing Pier are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those in the mood for shopping can visit Emerald Plantation and Salty Air Open Market. Traveling with kids? Consider Salty Pirate Water Park, or check out an event or a game at Cougar Stadium. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

  • Just prior to departing, complete a final walk-through to confirm you haven't forget anything. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the property a final time and scan for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager is not available, remember to take photos of the rental to record its condition.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Property managers rely on great ratings to compel more bookings. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your feedback find their best vacation home. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.
