Welcome to our ''5 Star'' energy rated vacation home. This home was constructed with energy efficiency and fun in mind. ''ISLAND TIME'' is located about a mile from town along Coast Guard Rd. The new bicycle path is right outside of our Dolphin Ridge development. It's a great addition to EI. You can rent a bicycle and discover the entire island or you can relax and appreciate the private pool. We also have our own personal golf cart. It makes getting to the beach a lot of fun. If you prefer a leisurely walk to the beach; it is only 4 short blocks. Along the way you may want to pause and gaze at one of the various ponds overflowing with wildlife. As you will discover, there are many bespoke features that make this home a state of the art, environmentally friendly, ideal family vacation home.

About the Area

Located in Emerald Isle, this cottage is in the city center and near the beach. Emerald Forest Golf and Bogue Inlet Fishing Pier are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those in the mood for shopping can visit Emerald Plantation and Salty Air Open Market. Traveling with kids? Consider Salty Pirate Water Park, or check out an event or a game at Cougar Stadium. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

  • In the Havelock area, The sooner your group can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are booked early. Reserving your vacation home up to 12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation home.
  • June, July, and August are high season in the Havelock area. Booking your vacation home in Fall or Spring months is our favorite way to save money on your vacation. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable properties.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner if your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Booking websites usually offer their guests an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gas expenses.   • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to book the best tours, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Double-check the property to make sure that you've packed all personal items at departure. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
