Located just 300 feet from the beach and only one row back from the Bogue Sound, you'll appreciate simple access to both!
Inside, an adjoining door accepts you to savor time together and still have a bit of privacy. With a complete remodel in 2023, the updates include new floors, fresh paint, modern cabinets, updated appliances, a new front deck, and more!
Bring along your well-behaved pup to enjoy the rare, fenced backyard! This 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom home (2BR/1BA on each side) is packed with amenities, like Intelligent TVs in every bedroom and living area (just remember to log out of your apps!). The kitchens are entirely outfitted with enormous and modest appliances—think air fryer, crock pot, coffee maker, blender, and more.
Unwind on the new front deck with rocking chairs for sunsets, or kick back on the ocean-view deck’s sectional couch (complete with a gate for added safety). The fenced backyard features a gas grille and a shaded porch hangout area, plus two enclosed hot/cold outdoor showers to rinse off after beach days.
This home is designed for creating memorable family moments! Smoking is not allowed. Typical stays run Sunday to Sunday, but flexible dates are available depending on the season. Linens (linens, bath towels, and kitchen towels) are included with beds made. Family Animals are welcome with a $250 non-returnable pet fee per dog (up to two dogs).

Havelock rental home booking tips and tricks:
Cost saving strategies:
- June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Emerald Isle. Reserve your Havelock rental property in the Spring or Fall to enjoy beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Havelock vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
- In the Havelock area, The sooner your group can reserve a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental homes are booked very early. Booking your rental up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and book your vacation rental.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner whether your vacationing group qualifies for a discount.
- Management companies and individual rental owners often offer customers an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for more information.
- Often, rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Havelock area travel guides which will include special deals, either offered directly by local companies, or by way of a partnership between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Havelock area magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.
Planning and picking the best Havelock rental:
- Begin by choosing vacation dates and a budget.
- Decide how many bedrooms and the configuration your family requires. Dogs OK! Steps away from the beach ~ 4BR! has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Havelock rental home search.
- Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is normally available online. If not, email or call the property management company before you book the property. Remember that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which usually includes pull-out couches.
- Visiting for a specific event? Try a map search to locate nearby properties.
- Appropriate accessibility can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are available before reserving a rental
- Are you bringing the family pet? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Ask your host before booking, and study your agreement! Pet fees or may be applied to your contract.
More considerations:
- Review arrival and departure procedures before leaving home. Take a printed copy, and add a note with the directions to your smartphone.
- Record any damages to the property at check in, and immediately e-mail them to the host. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are beneficial if a dispute is filed.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, stereo or coffee maker. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents quite a few difficulties.
- Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll increase your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are a great resource to find the best local beaches.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can typically help. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
- Ensure you protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by keeping the rental locked up while you are gone, just like you would back home.
- Double-check the rental property to make sure that you've packed all personal items at departure. Make sure to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Remember to leave a review! Property owners rely on great feedback to drive more bookings. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationing families will will be grateful for your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to fix it.
