Tips to get the perfect Havelock vacation property experience:
Finding the best rental value:
- The earlier your group can reserve a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable properties are reserved very early. Reserving your vacation home six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and book your rental home.
- Summer months are high season in Atlantic Beach. Book your vacation home in Fall or Spring months to enjoy gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Havelock vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host whether your family qualifies for a special rate.
- Booking websites usually offer guests an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally costs between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for additional information.
- Look for your local Havelock area magazine upon checking in. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local stories, visitor guides contain discounts for nearby tours and attractions.
Use filters to search efficiently:
- Begin by selecting a vacation week and a budget.
- Decide how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration you need. Studio Condo at Atlantic Beach waiting for you to come and play :) has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
- Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed types is normally accessible online. If you don't see them listed, call the property manager before you reserve the vacation home. Note that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches.
- Some properties allow pets, and others don't. Acceptable types of pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and added charges may apply. Ask the host about pet restrictions before booking.
- If there's an individual Havelock destination you are crazy about, browse properties that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your requirements.
- Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Confirm all necessary amenities are available before reserving a rental.
Have a great stay:
- Get the property manager's contact number and entry/exit procedures for your rental property. Store the host's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, television set or coffee maker. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief call prevents many issues.
- Keep the property locked while you're out! Don't let thieves ruin your trip.
- To ensure that no damages are linked to your stay, record any problem areas upon your arrival. message the host immediately to relay any damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be valuable.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disagreeable vacationers bothering your peaceful home. Apply the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great beaches and attractions you would have not otherwise known!
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can usually help. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
- Re-check the rental property to confirm that you've packed all belongings at departure. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Did your group have a excellent vacation? Many rental management companies make it easy for guests to provide reviews. If your rental and/or property management company was fantastic, they would love to hear it. If anything was amiss and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
