Tips and Tricks to get the best Havelock vacation home experience:
Sticking to a rental home budget:
- Reserve your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer rentals during holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Summertime is high season in Indian Beach. Booking a rental in Spring or Fall is our best tip for saving money on your vacation rental. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable homes.
- Owners sometimes offer special rates for active duty military and veterans. Check with your host or property manager to see if discounts are available for your group.
- Property management companies frequently offer their guests an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which generally will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for specifics.
- Look for your local Havelock visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great information, visitors guide magazines have coupons for nearby restaurants, attractions, and tours.
