- Summertime is the most expensive season along the coast of NC. To book the largest rental within your budget, we highly recommend reserving in Fall or Spring months. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at Havelock restaurants, tours, and activities.
- The sooner your group can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental properties are reserved very early. Reserving your rental home up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental property.
- Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer special rates for veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your family.
- Property management companies frequently offer customers an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses.
