This 2nd row duplex is located at the very end of an oceanfront culdesac which accepts a very private and unique setting. The home sits sky high on a dune that provides exceptional ocean vistas from the top level and there is a semi private beach boardwalk that is just on the other side of the driveway.
As you enter the home on the ground level, you will find an entrance into a living area with a daybed and tv, and a room with pyramid bunk (twin/double) bed, a laundry room, and a full bath. This whole area can be closed off for added convenience. From this additional living space, there is a sliding glass door leading out onto a covered patio with an outdoor hot and cold shower. This level provides access to the garage that stores the always nice to have a second refrigerator, and the ideal complement to a summer's nighttime... a gas grille.
The second level of the home is the bedroom level. A roomy primary king suite with a bath leads out to the oceanside deck. You are bound to savor the peaceful seclusion buffered by the maritime forest. A second room on the ocean side has a queen bed and private bath; it too has access to the mid-level deck. The third guest room on this floor is filled with natural light and is furnished with a queen bed and offers another private bath. As part of the Spinnaker’s Fresh Bed Promise all of the bed linens will be laundered between guests, even the comforters.
The third and top level of the home is open and inviting. The newly refreshed kitchen will make the prepare in your family smile as meals are prepared throughout the week. The living area of A Time to Remember is newly updated and ideal for either a movie or game nighttime! The TV is humongous, and the dining room table is definitely huge enough for a couple of board games. The decks on this level are furnished for dining and calming while you appreciate the sounds of the ocean while watching either the sunrises or sunsets... or both!
The beach access is just off your back patio. The walkway sits high on a dune and offers the convenience of an oceanfront home! The community pool is at the beginning of Louise Howard Court which would be roughly a 3 min. or less walk away.

Tricks and tips for getting the best Emerald Isle vacation property experience:
Finding the best value:
- Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families reserve their Summer rental homes during Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Summertime is high season in the Havelock area. To get the best value, try shifting your family's Havelock vacation week to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and even October offer pleasant weather, less crowded beaches, and greatly reduced traffic.
- Some owners offer discounts for veterans. Check with your property manager to see if rate reductions are available for your family before you book.
- Property managers often offer their guests an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for additional information.
- Often, management companies supply Havelock area visitors guide magazines that include coupons, either offered independently by local companies, or through a partnership between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Havelock visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.
Make a plan and pick the best Havelock rental home:
- Choose a designated group leader, select your vacation dates, and select a maximum budget.
- Note the number bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your group needs. 2nd Row Duplex with elevator, views, community pool, and direct beach access. has 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our vacation rental search.
- Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is commonly accessible on booking websites. If not, reach out to the host before reserving the home. Remember that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes pull out couches in living rooms. You'll need to determine what is best for your vacation.
- If your family is traveling with pets, you must reserve a pet-friendly property. Ask for information on breed, size, and type requirements. Note that some hosts charge pet deposits and fees.
- Is your group looking for special amenities? Most rental search websites include search filters for amenities. Use these to your advantage to find the perfect rental home.
- Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. .
More considerations:
- Add the host's phone number to your smartphone. Print and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, television set or thermostat. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents quite a few concerns.
- Protect the owner (and your things!) by locking the rental while you are away, just like you would back home.
- During arrival, note any issues with the rental property and immediately alert the host. Record all coorespondence.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disagreeable vacationers disrupting your peace and quiet. Practice the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great local food and places you would've never otherwise known about!
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can typically help. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected all of your things. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- Leave a review! Property managers rely on excellent reviews to drive new reservations. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationing families will will be grateful for your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to fix it.
