Now here's the property description......
Located right at The Point of Emerald Isle, our freshly and completely remodeled home has some of the finest vistas on the Island. The home sits on a bespoke foundation, 20 feet above sea level with an Elevator, pretty panorama of the Atlantic Ocean, Bogue Inlet and Intracoastal Waterways, really capturing the best The Point has to offer.
There are windows everywhere - surrounding a top floor with a sizable living area, modern kitchen and master suite. Downstairs there are 4 more bedrooms each with an attached bath. A second, cozy family room on the first level provides the ideal place for kids to get away or a peaceful place for you to watch a movie.
The home is furnished with a mixture of new and appealing old-school décor made additional special with handmade barn doors in the Master Suite and reclaimed cedar accents throughout, with wood from the original home. Our beds are all new and we’ve gotten feedback they are very comfortable.
A 75-inch HD Flat Screen TV and sound system completes the main living area & 65-inch HD Flat Screen TV's are in the downstairs Living Room and the Master Suite. Another TV is in the second Master Suite. Everything is supplied in our units…we have our own linens, bath towels, share our beach equipment and even provide beach towels.
Outside…..Wide-open underneath and surrounded by lattice, the space under the home is partially protected from the elements. There is shade for outdoor activity in the hot sun and protection from the elements during inclement weather, making outdoor time always practical. Well-designed decks surround the upper levels of the home making the most of the vistas. We also have all-new handsome outdoor furnishings with loungers by the pool and on the upper deck providing some privacy. There is a Ring-Toss game and Cornhole.
Unobstructed beachfront access is directly across from the home and you can choose the Atlantic Ocean, the Bogue Inlet or a calm lagoon for your time by the water. The walk to the beach is rewarded with wide-open beaches and a sense of space and privacy. A swimming pool awaits your return from the beach and there is an elevated hot tub on the first level deck. We have a big-wheeled beach cart and chairs we share to make the beach experience more delightful.
The home takes full advantage of our gorgeous location and we are proud to share it on a limited basis and only to families or smaller groups of adult friends. We welcome personal inquiries and encourage dialogue before we agree to a rental, to ensure it is a good fit both ways.
Eventide is an Old-English word for evening or end of the day. It is when our home is most special with spectacular sunsets that make this location on Emerald Isle very special.

Administrative Notes:
1. Please provide us with an accurate number of guests and communicate a brief description of your vacation plans so we may more-comfortably approve your booking.
2. We do not rent to organized groups of any kind, even if chaperoned by adults. No events, weddings, graduations, receptions or other gatherings are allowed, unless otherwise agreed to.
3. We have high, in-season demand and longer units get preference when building our calendar; 10 nights or longer. This is very hard to find, but also helps us build time between units to properly maintain the home.
4. We also book our home through a local private website, NCBeachrent.com. We will always do our best to ensure our calendar is up to date.

6. After you book through Vacation Rental By Owner, you can expect us to contact you directly. We will verify the reservation details and coordinate for a signed rental agreement with you...all done electronically. This is a requirement to finalize your reservation with us.
7. Family Animals are allowed only on a case by case basis and additional charges apply. Up to $500 per pet, per week. Typically, one modest, well behaved dog may be allowed. Checkout time with family pets is 9am to allow for additional cleaning.
Your booking through Vacation Rental By Owner includes an administrative fee from us to cover Vacation Rental By Owner costs & charges. Vacation Rental By Owner also charges guests a "Traveler Service Fee".
Under NC law, any material misrepresentation or fraud by the renter are grounds for expedited eviction.

Finding your best deal:
- Reserve your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups book their Summer vacation rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- To find the largest rental within your budget, we strongly suggest reserving in Fall or Spring months. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at Havelock restaurants, beaches, and activities.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a discount.
- Property managers often offer renters an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly costs between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
