Whether you are looking for a charming hideaway, a fun gathering place for the family, or an impressive fishing destination, Sea Star is the place to be! This pretty sea bungalow features two separate sides for individual families, or you may book both sides for enormous groups!
Each side sleeps 9 guests in 4 cavernous bedrooms, and each side has two full baths, one downstairs and one upstairs. Kitchens have full amenities, and the cozy furnishings & breezy colors bring the essence of the seashore inside! Each side has 3 sizable flat-screen TVs with Spectrum TV cable and high-speed internet.
In addition to being just steps from the surf, Sea Star features million-dollar vistas from both deck-levels. You will appreciate hours of relaxation on the broad decks below, and some upstairs bedrooms offer sliding glass doors with a deck, tall viewing chairs and unmatched vistas of the shining sands and crystal water. Sip a glass of wine from the upper deck as the sun sets, then create a masterpiece in the kitchen - with freshly-caught local seafood, of course!

Booking the best rental experience:
How to get the best value:
- Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacation rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- Summertime is the most expensive season in Emerald Isle. Booking in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is a great way to save money on your vacation rental. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of suitable properties.
- Some hosts and property managers offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your family.
- Booking websites typically offer their guests an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
- Look for your local Havelock visitors guide magazine upon arrival. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local stories, visitors guides have offers and deals for local shops and restaurants.
Narrow your Search:
- First, have your family commit to dates and a spending budget.
- Note the number bedrooms and the bed configuration your group needs. OCEANFRONT 4 BR\/2 BA 1\/2 duplex with stunning views! has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
- Specific details about bedrooms and bed counts & types is commonly available on booking websites. Otherwise, reach out to the property manager before reserving the rental. Note that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which often includes pull-out couches. You'll need to work out what configuration is optimal for your vacation group.
- Do your family pets travel with you? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Remember to ask the property manager before booking, and study your rental agreement! Additional pet fees or charges might be applied to your agreement.
- Are you visiting for a single attraction or event? Try a map search to browse nearby properties.
- Appropriate accessibility can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. Make certain to ask about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
Some things to know before you go:
- Add the host's information to your smartphone. Print and take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, intercom or thermostat. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief text message can prevent a lot of issues.
- Keep the property locked while you are gone! Don't let thieves ruin your vacation.
- To make certain that damages are not attributed to your family's visit, make note of any problem areas upon check in. Call the property manager right away to relay any damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be useful.
- Be respectful of your neighbors. Frequently, nearby homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to take kids for a treat, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
- Double-check the rental property to confirm that you've packed everything at departure. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- Did your family have a wonderful time? Most rental websites make it easy for vacationers to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or host was terrific, they would love to hear about it. If anything was amiss and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
