Make your next family vacation a memorable one in this pretty, oceanfront condo on the first floor of Dunescape Villas in Atlantic Beach. Imagine yourself basking in the sun around the community's outdoor swimming pool as the kids frolic in the water. Or, follow the walkway to the handsome, white-sand beach where you can ride the waves, build sandcastles, and collect seashells.
This generously furnished condo features all the amenities of home and all the amenities of a great vacation. Use the elevator and suitcases carts for simple access and be greeted by a comfortable living room that's great for cooling down and watching TV (with an HDTV cable package) after a sunny day spent on the beach. Allow yourself to be carried away by the striking view of the ocean as you kick back in a rocking chair on the screened-in balcony just off the living room.
The completely equipped kitchen, with all major and modest appliances and new granite countertops, makes cooking for the family a breeze. Don’t forget the courtyard has grilles if you're in the mood for burgers or steaks. At mealtime, gather the family around the six-person dining table; if you need additional seating, there are stools at the counter next to the table so everybody can join in on the fun.
When it’s time for lights out, you have three bedrooms waiting to lull you to sleep. After the kids have washed away the beach in the conveniently located hall bath, you can tuck them into the two twin beds. This room also offers the convenience of a TV and a private half-bath. The second bedroom has a queen bed and a TV. As for the primary bedroom, you'll find a king bed, a TV, a private bath with a shower stall, and a private oceanfront balcony. Additional amenities include complimentary WiFi throughout the condo and a laundry room with a full-size washer/dryer in the front screened entryway.

Tips and Tricks to get the best vacation home experience:
When to visit Atlantic Beach & When to book:
- The sooner you can reserve a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable properties are booked early. Reserving your rental six - twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental property.
- June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Havelock area. Booking in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is a good way to save money on your vacation home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable homes. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer.
- Owners sometimes offer discounts for veterans. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your family.
- Property management companies often offer guests an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for more information.
- Look for your local Havelock visitors guide magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local stories, visitor guides have offers and deals for nearby accommodations, restaurants and tours.
Choosing the best vacation home in Atlantic Beach:
- Start by having your group select the best dates and a maximum budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and the configuration your family needs. Oceanfront, First-Floor Condo with Lovely View, Balconies, WiFi & Shared Pool has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
- Precise information about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is often accessible on booking websites. Otherwise, email or call the host before booking your rental. Note that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds and bunks. You will need to work out what is best for your vacation.
- Some rental properties allow pets, but others do not. Acceptable types of family pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and additional costs may apply. Ask the property manager about pets before booking.
- Visiting for a specific attraction? Try a map search to find nearby properties.
- Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are included before booking
Know before you go:
- Put the manager's contact information in your smartphone.
- Hosts are available to help! Feel free to ask any questions during your stay.
- Lock your vacation home while you are out and about. Keep your property safe!
- Upon check-in, record any issues with the rental property and immediately alert the property manager. Record all correspondence in case a dispute arises.
- Be respectful. Often times, adjacent homes are filled by local residents. Respecting noise limits and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
- When it's time to leave, take a final walk-through to make sure you have not leave anything behind. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- Did your group have a wonderful vacation? Most rental managers make it easy for travelers to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or host was great, they would love to hear it. If anything was amiss and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
