WHAT IS PROVIDED:
Spectrum Rental Properties will provide sheets and bath towels. Beach towels and equipment is not included. If you would like information on beach equipment units, we are more than happy to provide you with a list. Properties will be supplied with a starter kit in each full bathroom and kitchen. Each kitchen starter kit will contain a modest bottle of dish soap, two dishwasher pods, sponge, and two fragrance complimentary laundry pods. The kitchen will also have one additional trash bag
Each bathroom starter kit will contain a travel size shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, makeup wipe, and body bar.
Spectrum Rental Properties is unfortunately not able to provide additional boxes/bags. This is a starter kit; anything additional will be guests responsibility to provide.

Sticking to a budget:

• In the Havelock area, The sooner you can book a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The best vacation rentals are reserved early. Reserving your rental property up to 12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental home.
• June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal NC. Booking your Havelock vacation rental in Spring or Fall is a great way to save on your vacation rental. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable homes. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months.
• Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer rate reductions for active duty military and veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if special discounts are available for your family before you book.
• Booking websites usually offer their guests an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses. • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Neighbors can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
• Upon check-out, take a final walk-through to confirm you haven't forget anything. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
• Inspect the property a final time and scan for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever possible. If the host isn't available, remember to take video of the property to record its condition.
• Remember to leave feedback! Property managers rely on good ratings to stimulate more reservations. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other families will will be grateful for your feedback find their best vacation home. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to solve it.
