The main living space’s floorplan combines the living and dining areas with a splendid kitchen that is ready for memory-making wine and cheese golden hours, long-lasting brunches, or family game nights. Plenty of prep space for dinners at home, and the kitchen conveniently leads out to the screened-in porch.
The primary bedroom features a bathroom en suite with a dual sink vanity. In addition, the roomy, tiled shower provides a relaxing spa feel. Walk-in closet has a window with a ‘peak-a-book’ view of the ocean and doubles ideally as an office to meet any telecommuting needs.
The second bedroom is equally as accommodating and calming. The enormous closet will keep you organized during your stay and a pocket door is one of two entrances into the sizable second bathroom, which also has a dual sink vanity, bathtub, and a water closet that provides the utmost privacy so you can really focus on your Words With Friends showdowns.
Bedroom three has two sets of bunkbeds for your little ones or friends who were the last to send you the Venmo for their portion of the cost for your amazing hideaway and time together. In addition, appreciate the wall-mounted flatscreen Intelligent TV that is ideal for late nighttime binge-watching.
Tons of usable space for calming outside on the screened-in porch with an upsized picnic table, which is adjacent to the deck. In addition, plenty of covered storage available under the home for bicycles and beach gear.

Strategies to get the very best Havelock vacation property experience:
When to visit Emerald Isle & When to reserve a rental home:
- Book your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rental homes during Winter holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- To book the best rental home within your budget, we strongly suggest booking in Fall or Spring months. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at Havelock restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Havelock vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host if your group qualifies for a special rate.
- Booking websites often offer their guests an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for specifics.
- Look for your local Havelock visitors guide magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great information, visitor guides have discounts for nearby accommodations and attractions.
Narrow your rental Search:
- Begin by choosing the best vacation week and a max budget.
- Decide how many bedrooms and the configuration you need. TOP POCKET FIND takes on Emerald Isle, NC has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
- Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed counts is almost always accessible online. Otherwise, contact the host before you book the vacation property. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You will need to work out what bed configuration is optimal for your vacation group.
- Remember to include your furry companions! Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Remember to ask your host before booking, and study your agreement! Extra fees or costs might be applied to your agreement.
- Are you visiting for a specific event? Use a map search to browse nearby properties.
- Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before booking
More tips for your stay:
- Review check in & check out procedures before leaving home. Take a printed copy, and add a note with the directions to your smartphone.
- Hosts are available to help! Don't be shy to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property while you are away, just like you would at home.
- During check-in, document any issues with the property and immediately alert the property manager. Record all correspondence in case a dispute arises.
- Don't forget to respect your neighbors. Frequently, adjacent homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Locals can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
- Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, walk through the property to make sure you've collected everything. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- Did your group have a terrific vacation? Most vacation rental websites make it easy for clients to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property manager was terrific, they would love to hear about it. If anything was out of order and they failed to fix it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
