Property available for week of July 19th 2025 to July 26 2025. When you stay here, you just might not leave the resort during your vacation. An abundance of onsite amenities and activities are enough to keep you and your kids busy during your stay. These include multiple swimming pools, sports courts, resort activities, miniature golf, and, of course, private beach access. This two-bedroom vacation condos is equipped with a roomy living area and full kitchen, the ideal place to make a fast meal before you head back to the sand and surf. My family has been going here since 1979. We drive in from Atlanta and definitely appreciate the family friendly environment that is much less busy than the FL beaches. Atlantic Beach is one of the homes of Black Beard the Pirate, host of a national Blue Marlin fishing tournament, and has museums like Fort Macon. The history of this place is a must see.

Finding the best vacation home experience:
Get the best rental home value:
- Summertime is high season in the Havelock area. To get the best value, consider shifting your vacation dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer warmer weather, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic.
- Reserve your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families book their Summer rentals during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host if your group qualifies for a price reduction.
- Booking websites typically offer guests an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for additional information.
- Find a copy of your local Havelock visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, travel guides have discounts for local tours, shops, and attractions.
How to pick the perfect vacation rental:
- Start by selecting vacation dates and a spending budget.
- Note the number bedrooms and the configuration your group requires. Waterview, fully loaded, 2Bdr condo- Watch humpback whales. July 21-28, 2024 has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Havelock vacation rental search.
- Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is regularly accessible online. If they are not listed, email or call the host before booking the vacation home. Note that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds in living rooms.
- If there's a certain Havelock destination you long to visit, keep an eye out for properties that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your needs.
- Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. Make certain to ask about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
- Traveling with pets? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Remember to ask the property manager before booking, and study your rental agreement! Extra fees or costs may be applied to your contract.
More tips for your stay:
- Be sure you get the property manager's phone number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental. Store the host's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
- To make certain that damages aren't linked to your family's stay, make a record of any problem areas during check in. text the host right away to document any issues. If there is a dispute, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be very helpful.
- Property managers are there to help! Feel free to ask questions during your stay.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disagreeable vacationers disrupting your peaceful neighborhood. Practice the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great local food and attractions you would've never otherwise known!
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Locals can often help. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
- Ensure you protect the owner (and your stuff!) by locking and securing the home while you are out, just like you would at home.
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, take a walk through the rental to reconfirm you've collected all belongings. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Inspect the rental a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the property manager is not available, ensure that you take pictures of the rental to record its condition.
- Did your family have a fantastic time? Most vacation rental websites make it easy for travelers to provide reviews. If your rental and/or property manager was fantastic, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was wrong and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
