You can appreciate the ocean vistas and breezes from the brand new 3 story deck – ideally suited for sunbathing or calming while waiting for the occasional dolphin to swim by. You can play in the sand or swim in the ocean on the wide cavernous beach that is only steps from the back door. Beachy Keen is private with its own separate walkway to the beach – not shared with the other half of the duplex. After your day at the beach you can cleanup in the hot/cold enclosed outdoor shower.
Beachy Keen is located in the private, family-friendly Spinnaker’s Reach neighborhood, and guests will savor access to the community pool and toddler playground that is only steps away from the end of the driveway. Spinnaker’s Reach also has sound-side access for guests, great for pier fishing and wildlife viewing.
In addition, Beachy Keen has a second refrigerator in the garage to help with grocery overflow, and a gas grille for the outdoor cooks.
Beachy Keen rents by the week (Sunday to Sunday) from Memorial Day to Labor Day. For the months of October through April a minimum stay of three nights is required. May and September have a 4 day minimum. A full linen service is supplied, and beds will be made and ready for you to enjoy.

How to find the best Havelock rental experience:
Get the most from your budget:
- Summer time is high season in Emerald Isle. Booking a rental in Fall or Spring is a great way to save on your rental home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable properties. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Havelock vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
- Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families reserve their Summer rental homes during holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- Property managers sometimes offer promotional rates for veterans. Check with your host or property manager to see if special discounts are available for your group before you book.
- Booking websites frequently offer their guests an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for more information.
- Find a copy of your local Havelock visitors guide magazine when you check-in. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, visitor guide magazines contain coupons for nearby accommodations and attractions.
Filter your rental search:
- Begin by selecting the best vacation week and a max budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your group requires. Beautiful 7BR Oceanfront home with stunning views and private beach access! has 7 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.
- Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is normally available on booking websites. Otherwise, email or call the property management company before you book the vacation home. Note that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes pull-out couches.
- If there's a certain Havelock attraction you are enamored with, browse properties that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your needs.
- Appropriate accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with disabilities. Confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before booking.
- Are you bringing the family pet? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your rental agreement! Additional pet fees or costs may be applied to your agreement.
Have a great stay:
- Review arrival and departure procedures before traveling. Take a printed copy, and save the directions to your phone.
- Make a record of any damages to the rental at check in, and immediately send them to the host. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that can be helpful if damages are attributed to your stay.
- Property managers are great sources of help! Feel free to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Respect the neighborhood. Frequently, surrounding homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking rules reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can typically help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to book the best tours, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
- Lock your rental while you are out and about. Keep your property safe!
- Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, take a walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected all personal belongings. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Please make sure to walk through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for damage. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host is not available, take photos and video of the property to record its condition.
- Did you have a fantastic time? Many rental management companies make it easy for guests to provide comments. If your rental property and/or property manager was wonderful, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was imperfect and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
