509 Ocean Ridge is the ideal place to spend your vacation time on the impressive Crystal Coast at the Southern Outer Banks of North Carolina. The home is located right on the beach overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. It is 1/2 mile from the Atlantic Beach Circle and numerous dining establishments. Our bungalow is well suited for a enormous family to appreciate time together with ample room for everybody. There are five bedrooms and three bathrooms. One bedroom includes an attached nursery with a crib and a toddler bed. There are two king beds, four queen beds, and one double bed. Sheets, towels, and paper products are available through a local linen service, or you can bring your own. A huge dining room table sits right off to the side of the handsomely refreshed kitchen area and is adjacent to the cavernous living room. There is a second refrigerator downstairs, a refrigerator for seafood/bait, and an outdoor gas grille is available for use. Just a few steps off the deck and you will feel the sand between your toes! Catch the pretty sunsets as the waves roll onto the shore while calming on the sun deck or in the enclosed sun porch. A third deck is on the front of the home where you and your family can have a relaxing outdoor meal or just relax. Our home is a short distance from the Coral Bay Club, many fine dining eateries and coffee homes, Fort Macon State Park, the North Carolina Aquarium, and numerous museums in close by Morehead City and Beaufort. Atlantic Beach Town Park is within walking distance and features mini golf, a skate park, and a splash pad. Oceanana Pier is a trendy fishing site, as well as charter boats and surf fishing. Local stores in the close by towns offer unique shopping experiences featuring local arts and crafts. While you are in the area you might also catch a local festival or fishing tournament! There is plenty to offer for the entire family.

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal NC. Booking a rental in Fall or Spring months is our favorite way to save money on your rental home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable homes. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Havelock vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Property management companies usually offer customers an option to obtain trip insurance.
