The Dunescape Unit is on the point of the complex giving it unobstructed vistas of the ocean from two sides. The first thing you will notice when you walk in is the view...AMAZING. No other condos or pools or anything stand between you and the waves. Couple that with the luxury decor and amenities of the complex and you will find yourself wishing you could stay forever.
When you arrive at the condo, you will have two dedicated parking places. Because of limited space that is all that is available on site . Once parked , you will find bags carts and grocery shopping carts, as well as an elevator, to make moving into the condo simple and fast. The condo itself is decorated with light floor and furnishings making it feel like a tropical breezy villa.
There are 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, oceanfront screen porch off the living room and a separate oceanfront balcony off of the master bedroom. The master has a Queen size bed and ensuite bathroom with stand up shower. Down the hallway you will find another bedroom with a Queen bed, and in between there is a full 3 piece bathroom. The 3rd bedroom has two twin beds and an attached half bath. There is a sizable Wifi Intelligent TV and Playstation 4 (with BluRay) in the living room and a smaller Wifi Intelligent TV in the 3rd twin bedroom.
There are also games, puzzles, books and cards for your family and friends to appreciate should you want to stay in.
The completely outfitted kitchen showcases white cabinetry, a complete appliance package—glass top stove, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator with ice maker. Additionally we have all the amenities of home such as a blender, crockpot, toaster, and even a stand mixer. Additionally there is a separate wet bar/ coffee station with a Keurig, a French Press and an electric kettle located right outside the bedroom doors.
There is a screened sitting area in the front and a separate laundry room that has a full size washer and dryer.
Onsite there are four communal pools, grilling areas and boardwalks with showers to clean up after the beach. Our condo comes with beach chairs, umbrellas, sand castle and surf toys. NOTE: Due to the uncertainty of restrictions and regulations during Covid-19, we can not guarantee that the pools or the beaches will not be affected on some level. We apologize for any inconvenience but unfortunately we have no control over the current state of affairs. Please do keep your selfies informed and let us know if you should haver any questions or concerns.
Directly across the street you have condo access to the pier and boatslips to keep your boat on the Bogue Sound as well as park your trailer. If you bring your boat, there is a public boat launch one mile away.

How to book the best vacation property experience:
Cost saving strategies:
- Summertime is high season in Atlantic Beach. Booking in the Fall or Spring is our best tip for saving money on your vacation rental. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable properties. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Havelock vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
- The earlier your group can reserve a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are booked early. Reserving your vacation rental up to 12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your rental.
- Hosts sometimes offer discounts for veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if special offers are available for your group.
- Booking websites typically offer guests an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for additional information.
- Look for your local Havelock visitors guide magazine when you check-in. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, visitors guide magazines have discounts for nearby accommodations, tours and attractions.
Make a plan and choose a perfect Havelock rental home:
- Select vacation week and maximum budget.
- Note the number bedrooms and the bed configuration you need. Beautiful Direct Oceanfront Atlantic Beach Paradise has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our vacation rental search.
- Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is often accessible on booking websites. If they are not listed, call the property owner before you book the vacation property. Note that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds and bunks. You will need to determine what is best for your vacation.
- Are you visiting for a single attraction? If so, use a map search to find nearby rentals.
- Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are available and included before reserving a rental.
- If your family is vacationing with pets, you'll need to find a rental that allows animals. Make sure to ask for details on breed, size, and type restrictions. Some property owners require additional pet deposits and fees.
More tips for your stay:
- Get the owner's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your rental home.
- To make certain damages aren't attributed to your family's visit, record any problem areas when you arrive. Contact the rental manager immediately to report your findings. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be helpful.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, elevator or thermostat. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents a lot of difficulties.
- Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will increase your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors can be an excellent source for finding the best local spots.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
- Keep the property locked while you are gone! Don't let thieves ruin your vacation.
- On check-out day, complete a final walk-through to make sure you haven't leave anything behind. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Inspect the rental one final time and look for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the manager isn't available, take video of the property to record its condition.
- Did your group have a great stay? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for vacationers to provide reviews. If your rental and/or host was great, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was imperfect and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
