Come spend some time at handsome Atlantic Beach. Stay a week or just a weekend; either way you won't be disappointed. Atlantic Beach offers a peaceful family-friendly ambiance but still offers plenty to do, such as a visit to Fort Macon, browsing local stores, dining out, movies, fishing, boating, or just hanging by the pool. There is also an aquarium less than 10 mins. away and there are striking neighboring towns like Morehead City and Beaufort that are great to walkabout, exploring the stores and trying out new eateries. If you want a little adventure, there are boat tours and day trips to close by islands where you can go shelling, see wild horses or just spend the day calming.
The condo is located at Bogue Shores Condominiums. Bogue Shores is a modest two-story building that sits on the Bogue Sound and is right across the street from the beach. There is a enormous pool and separately enclosed infant pool on the property, as well as grilles, a gazebo, a fishing dock and boat launch ramp. There is also a pathway with a pedestrian crosswalk that takes you directly from the property across the street to the beach.
The condo was just refreshed from top to bottom and is very clean. We take very good care of it and hope that you will too. The condo is one room, like a hotel room, with a bathroom and full kitchenette. There are two queen beds. Ideally 2-3 people would fit most comfortably, but 4 is the max.. The bathroom is modest and has a standup shower only. The kitchenette has a full size refrigerator, electric stovetop (no oven), microwave, toaster oven, Keurig, dishes, pots, pans, silverware, etc. There is a sizable flat-screen TV with cable and wifi available for your use. With linens and towels being supplied for you, and the condo being equipped with essentially everything you need, we make packing and planning very painless on you! Checking out is also a breeze! For the most part, all you have to do is pack up your stuff and head out! Leave the cleaning to us!

Tips to get the best Atlantic Beach vacation rental experience:
Getting the most from your vacation rental budget:
- To get the largest rental home for your budget, we recommend booking in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite Havelock restaurants and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Havelock vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
- In the Havelock area, The earlier your group can book, the better your selection will be. The best properties are booked very early. Reserving your vacation home up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and book your rental property.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host if your group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
- Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer their guests an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for specifics.
- Look for your local Havelock visitors guide magazine upon checking in. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local articles, visitors guides contain discounts for local shops and restaurants.
Use filters to search efficiently:
- Start by having your group agree to the best dates and a max budget.
- Decide how many bedrooms and the configuration your family needs. Clean Quaint Bogue Shores Unit has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Havelock rentals search.
- Specific information about bedrooms and bed counts & types is usually accessible on booking websites. Otherwise, email or call the property management company before booking the vacation home. Note that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull out couches in living rooms. You'll need to establish what bed configuration is optimal for your group.
- Are you looking for particular amenities? Most rental websites include amenity lists and search filters. Amenity filters help you quickly remove less-optimal properties.
- Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Make certain to ask about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
- Some properties allow pets, but some don't. Acceptable types of pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added charges may apply. Ask your host about pet restrictions before booking.
Have a fantastic stay:
- Add the host's contact info to your phone. Understand and take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
- Document any issues with the rental at check in, and immediately contact the property manager. We specifically recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that can be beneficial if a dispute arises.
- Property managers are available to help! Feel free to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll increase your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors can be a fantastic resource to find the best local spots.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can often help. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
- Lock your rental while you're away. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
- Re-check the rental property to confirm that you've packed all of your family's items on check-out day. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Go through the rental one final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever possible. If the manager is not available, remember to take photographs of the property to record its condition.
- Did you have a terrific stay? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for vacationers to provide feedback. If your property and/or property manager was wonderful, they would love to hear it. If anything was amiss and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
