Eateries right around the corner, and 41 acre park just outside the backyard!
A private hot tub overlooks the wooded backyard, gazing up into the tree canopy. Turn on the jets, changing color lights and waterfall and take in the generous sounds of nature. For additional ambience, string lights adorning the sky can be turned on as well, and LED tiki torches come on each nighttime.
An outdoor shower makes post beach clean-up of your family (including the four-legged ones) a breeze with hot and cold water, along with a close by hose for cleaning up beach gear.
With the addition of an outdoor dining table, family seating for six is adjacent to the wood fired pizza oven. The pizza oven is a fun and fantastic way to make dining an experience without ever going out. Dough, sauce and cheese to get started with are supplied along with all the tools and some books for how-to and fun recipe ideas. Also great for baking bread, cedar planked salmon, pizookie cookies, cobbler, cast iron cinnamon rolls and more! Yum!

Sourdough boxed mix and additional bread flower and yeast are supplied along with a recipe ideas book. Nothing like fresh sourdough paired with the local catch on a coastal evening, or paired with some traditional local chowder.
Some of the kitchen appliances are a little older, but American made and still going strong. Nearly any spice or cookware item you’d wish to use while cooking is probably outfitted in this kitchen, as we appreciate to prepare and try new local recipes! Stainless pans, pots and cookware. Finding the best Havelock vacation home experience:
How to get the best rental value:
- Summer months are the most expensive season along the coast of NC. To get the best value, consider shifting your vacation to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer warm weather, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Havelock vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
- The earlier your group can reserve a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable properties are reserved early. Booking your rental home six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental.
- Some owners offer special rates for veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your family.
- Property management companies typically offer their guests an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
- Look for your local Havelock area magazine upon arrival. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, travel guides contain offers and deals for local restaurants, attractions, and tours.
Choosing and booking the perfect Havelock rental home:
- Begin by selecting your a vacation week and a budget.
- Decide how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration you need. Family Entertainment Beach House, Hot tub has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
- Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is commonly available on booking pages. If not, call the host before booking the home. Remember that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes pull out couches in living rooms.
- Are you visiting for a specific attraction or event? Use a map search to find nearby properties.
- Appropriate accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Remember to confirm all required amenities are included before booking
- If your family is traveling with pets, you will need a pet-friendly rental. Ask for details on breed, size, and type requirements. Be aware that some hosts charge additional pet fees.
More tips for your visit:
- Get the owner's phone number and check in/check out procedures for your rental home. Store the manager's contact information in your smartphone.
- To make certain that damages aren't attributed to your family's visit, make note of any problem areas when you arrive. message the rental manager right away to relay any issues. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having a record of problems and contact attempts will be useful.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, intercom or thermostat. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief text message can prevent quite a few issues.
- Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are usually an excellent source for finding the best local beaches and hangouts.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can frequently help. Who better to ask where to book the best tours, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
- Ensure you protect the property owner (and your things!) by locking the property while you are away, just like you would at home.
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the property to reconfirm you've collected all of your things. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Please make sure to walk through the rental one final time and scan for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the manager isn't available, remember to take video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
- Did your family have a fantastic vacation? Most vacation rental websites make it easy for customers to provide reviews. If your rental and/or property manager was wonderful, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was defective and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
