Our condo:
Pebble Beach is a gated, oceanfront community located on the Crystal Coast, at the southern end of North Carolina's Outer Banks. Emerald Isle was rated the best beach in NC by USA Today. Our condo, D-101, is a corner, first floor unit, which is clean, generously maintained and equipped, and newly modernized. We have comfortable furnishings, two balconies, only a few steps to the ocean front pool, and only a few steps to the beach!
The price is lower than nearly any other comparable unit, since, being a first floor unit, the view of the ocean is limited--though the walk to the ocean is one of the shortest in the entire complex.
We have local cleaners, maintenance people, and backup maintenance people to be available for any issues or emergencies. The owners' phone numbers are posted inside and we encourage our guests to call for any problems. We have keyless entry so you can go directly to the condo without waiting in line at the rental management company. And, upon departure, you don't have to go back to the management company to check out!
The condo was freshly refreshed with new floor throughout. Well equipped kitchen with modern appliances and bar seating for four. Dining room seats six. Both bathrooms updated with complete remodel in past year.
The master bedroom has a king sized bed with a firm, 12" memory foam bed, an oceanfront and pool-front balcony, and its own full bath. Bedroom 2 has two twins and a balcony, and bedroom 3 has a queen sized bed and a balcony. Bedrooms 2 and 3 share a full bath.
Linens and towels are supplied. We provide a starter supply of toilet paper, paper towels, trash bag, and dish soap, but you will probably need to purchase more.
Conveniences:
Pebble Beach has an ocean front pool, a second outdoor pool, an indoor pool, and an exercise gym.
We have an ocean front gazebo, multiple grilles and picnic areas, multiple grassy play areas, two lighted tennis courts, a gated entry with guard home and on-site security personnel, and impeccable landscaping. We have an oceanfront clubhouse which is available for meetings, get-togethers, weddings, and other gatherings.
Biking:
We have an 11 mile long, paved, dedicated bicycle and walking path, separated from the highway. Bicycle units are available across the street from the condo and the complex has multiple bicycle racks.
Kayaking, Fishing, Boating:
There are multiple kayak launch areas and parks within the city limits of Emerald Isle, including a sound front park with dock less than one mile away. There is superb surf fishing right in front of Pebble Beach, and a great pier with legendary fishing and a highly rated restaurant overlooking the ocean one mile away. For those who savor boating and fishing, there is boat trailer parking close by for a modest fee. There is a full service marina roughly 10 mins. away, where a wet boat slip on Bogue Sound can be rented by the day or week. There are two complimentary, public boat ramps on Bogue Sound, within a 10 min. drive, offering convenient access to Bogue Inlet and the Atlantic Ocean. It is about a 10 min. boat ride to the ocean from the marina and from the two public ramps.
For additional information about our area, including shopping, eateries, and activities, visit the Town of Emerald Isle web site.
North Carolina mountains lake front home:
We also offer a 3 bedroom, 2 bath bungalow, with private dock and boat slip, on Lake James, a pristine, 7000 acre lake in the mountains of North Carolina, where Last of the Mohicans and Hunt for Red October were filmed. Vacation Rental By Owner #617996.

Tips to get the best Havelock vacation home experience:
Cost saving strategies:
- To find the best value, shift your group's vacation to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and October offer pleasant temperatures, , and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer.
- In the Havelock area, The sooner your group can book, the better your selection will be. The most desirable properties are reserved very early. Reserving your rental home up to 12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and book your rental home.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host whether your group qualifies for a special rate.
- Booking websites usually offer customers an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for more information.
- Often, management companies supply Havelock area visitor guide magazines which include money-saving deals, either offered independently by local companies, or through a relationship between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Havelock visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.
Filter your rental search:
- Begin by selecting your trip dates and a maximum budget.
- Note the number bedrooms and the configuration your group needs. Emerald Isle Oceanfront Condo at Pebble Beach. 3BR, 2BA. has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Havelock rentals search.
- Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed types is often accessible online. Otherwise, reach out to the property manager before you reserve your home. Note that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which frequently includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
- Visiting for a specific attraction? Use a map search to locate nearby properties.
- Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Make certain to ask about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
- Remember to include your furry companions! Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Remember to ask your host before booking, and study your rental agreement! Additional fees or costs may be applied to your agreement.
Know before you go:
- We recommend storing the manager's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
- Note any issues with the rental during check in, and immediately e-mail them to the property manager. We specifically recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be useful if there is a dispute.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, intercom or thermostat. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents a lot of concerns.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disagreeable vacationers bothering your peaceful home. Practice the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great restaurants and attractions you would've not otherwise known!
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
- Lock your rental while you are out. Keep your property safe!
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, take a walk through the property to reconfirm you've collected all personal belongings. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Leave a review! Property owners rely on excellent feedback to stimulate more reservations. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other families will be thankful you shared your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to fix it.
