Sound of the Sea is a well maintained gated community in Emerald Isle. Short walking distance to grocery store, stores, movies, eateries, Putt-Putt, bicycle units, surfing units, bait stand, and more! Handsome sandy beach is never busy. Head east on beach and walk one mile to Bogue Pier, head west and walk 3 miles to the impressive "Point."

Rents Saturday to Saturday. Second floor condo, 2BR, 1-1/2B. 2Q rooms. Linens, bath towels and beach towels included. Entirely equipped kichen, washer/dryer, 2 cable TV's, DVD player, stereo with CD player, wireless hi-speed internet access. Spiral staircase to 2nd floor BR's. 2 decks. Good ocean view. About the Area

Located in Emerald Isle, this condo is in the city center and near the beach. Salty Pirate Water Park and Emerald Forest Golf are local attractions and those in the mood for shopping can visit Emerald Plantation and Salty Air Open Market. The Sweet Spot and Emerald Isle Adventures are also worth visiting.

Get the most from your rental budget:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Emerald Isle. To get the best value, change your vacation dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer warm weather, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Havelock vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • Reserve your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families book their Summer vacation rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Property management companies typically offer guests an option to purchase vacation insurance.
