About this Property

  • Private vacation home

Come stay at our freshly refreshed oceanfront home in the fashionable Ocean Oaks neighborhood at Emerald Isle. We offer a wrap-around ocean view from the kitchen and living area, along with ocean-facing windows in each of our 3 bedrooms.

Our goal is to make your family feel welcome in the cleanest rental you've ever experienced. After Hurricane Florence damage, we gutted the home so that everything is new, from the walls and floor to the kitchen appliances and tile bathrooms. Each bedroom features Casper beds, spa sheets, and a intelligent TV. Our kitchen comes well-outfitted, and we include your basic oils, spices, condiments, detergents, and paper goods with your rental.

Outside, sun yourself on the upper deck, or grab a spot in the shade on our lower deck. We have an enclosed outdoor shower with a changing area for those who like to feel the breeze. Beach chairs and a bucket of toys are supplied.

About the Area

Located in Emerald Isle, this vacation home is on the beach. Emerald Forest Golf and Bogue Inlet Fishing Pier are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those in the mood for shopping can visit Emerald Plantation and Salty Air Open Market. Salty Pirate Water Park and Emerald Isle Adventures are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Rental home booking tips and tricks:

Finding your best deal:

  • Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families book their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Booking in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is a great way to save money on your vacation. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable properties. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Havelock vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host if your vacationing group qualifies for a special rate.
  • Property managers usually offer their guests an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
  • Find a copy of your local Havelock visitors guide magazine upon checking in. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great information, visitors guide magazines have money saving offers on nearby accommodations, tours and attractions.

How to choose the best vacation home:

  • First, have your family decide on vacation dates and a spending budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your group requires. Remodeled Oceanfront Duplex in Quiet Ocean Oaks near the Point has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Havelock vacation rental search.
  • Precise details about bedrooms and bed counts is regularly accessible on booking pages. If they are not listed, contact the property management company before booking your rental. Remember that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
  • Some properties allow pets, but some do not. Acceptable types of pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and additional charges may apply. Ask the host about allowable breeds and types before booking.
  • Looking for particular amenities? Most websites include search filters for amenities. Filtering by amenity will allow you to quickly find the perfect rental.
  • Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Confirm all necessary amenities are included before reserving a rental.

During your stay:

  • Take a copy of the property manager's contact number and entry/exit procedures for your rental home.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, intercom or kitchen appliance. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent lots of problems.
  • Lock your vacation home while you are away. Protect the owner's property and your things!
  • During arrival, note any damages to the rental property and immediately contact the owner. Keep records of all correspondence in case a dispute arises.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You'll magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors can be an excellent source for finding the best local beaches and hangouts.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Re-check the property to make sure that you've packed all belongings on check-out day. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the property one final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host isn't available, ensure that you take photos of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your group have a terrific time? Most rental websites make it easy for customers to provide feedback. If your property and/or property management company was wonderful, they would love to hear about it. If anything was inoperable and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
