Our SCUBA DIVING lodge is ideal for groups that aren't looking for anything super fancy. We DO NOT PROVIDE linens, towels or paper products. There are 3 bedroom spaces and 3 bathrooms. On the main floor there is a nice front porch area as well as one off the side of the building at ground level. This property has a long term basement apartment rental with a separate entrance that is NOT supplied with this rental. There is parking at the property as well as 10+ spots on street parking within 1 block.
Please use OUTSIDE shower to rinse off from the beach! Thank you for your help with this.
The rate is $160 a nighttime for 8 people or less during the week and $280 a nighttime for 8 people or less on the weekend. There is an additional charge of $20 per nighttime for every person over 8 on the week days and $35 per nighttime for every person over 8 on the weekends. If you choose to bring a pet, there is a $30 per nighttime additional charge.

About the Area

Located in Beaufort, this vacation home is in the city center and by the sea. When to book a Havelock rental home & When to go:

  • Book your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rental homes during Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summertime is the most expensive season in Beaufort. Book your rental property in Fall or Spring to get the benefit of beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowds.
  • Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if rate reductions are available for your family before you book.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer renters an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which generally will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
  • Find a copy of your local Havelock area magazine when you check-in. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, travel guides have offers and deals for nearby accommodations, tours and attractions.

  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can often help. Who better to ask where to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, take a walk through the rental property to reconfirm you've collected all personal items. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the rental one final time and scan for any damage. We advise walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host is not available, ensure that you take photos and video of the property to record its condition.
  • Leave feedback! Hosts rely on good reviews to propel new bookings. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationers will will be grateful for your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to remedy it.
