- Condo
- Approximately 1140 square feet
From the front door of our condo, you are steps away from putting your toes on the beach! Our handsome, newly refreshed 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath condo offers modern beach touches and the amenities of home. This second-floor unit directly faces the ocean and has gorgeous vistas of the Crystal Coast. Savor a morning cup of coffee on either of the two balconies with beautiful vistas of the beach!
Upon your arrival at Dunescape Villas, you will find suitcases carts and grocery shopping carts as well as an elevator to make moving into your home away from home simple and fast. There is a screened-in entry way / mud room in the front and a separate laundry room that has a full-size washer and dryer. The condo itself was freshly remodeled and newly decorated. It features luxury plank floor throughout, entirely-equipped kitchen, separate wet bar with drink refrigerator, oceanfront screen porch off the living room, and a separate oceanfront balcony off of the master bedroom.
The master bedroom has a king size bed with an en suite bath with shower. The 2nd bedroom has a twin bunkbed and a full bed and is next to a full bath with tub; there is also a modest workspace/desk area in this bedroom if you are so inclined. The 3rd bedroom has a queen bed and its own private half bath. There are TVs in all three bedrooms.
The kitchen has all new appliances including French-door refrigerator, dishwasher, and over-the-range microwave and is equipped for all your cooking needs. There is a new Keurig K-Duo Coffee Maker, which accepts single serve K-cups and can also brew drip coffee with a 12-cup carafe.
The living room has a 50” Samsung Intelligent TV with constructed-in Alexa. There is a screened-in porch off of the living room with seating overlooking the dunes, boarded walkway to the beach and, of course, the ocean.
Throughout the complex, there are numerous picnic areas with tables and charcoal grilles; you will need to provide your own charcoal. There are four swimming pools and numerous private beach access points with gazebos overlooking the beach. To use the pools, a release form must be signed prior to check-in.
All of the buildings at Dunescape Villas have parking tons near the unit. If additional parking is needed, there is overflow parking across the street. 2 parking passes supplied for parking at unit.
Bed linens, bath towels, and bath mats are not supplied. All beds have pillows and bed spreads. There are linen service companies in the area should you need this type of service.
Spring break weeks, mid-May to mid-September: 7 nighttime minimum weekly units, Sunday to Sunday. Other times of the year, 3 nighttime minimum with flexible check-in/out dates.
Self check-in and self check-out.
This is a no smoking property. No smoking around the pool, elevators, second floor common areas.
Renters must park in the designated spaces in front of the building, not under the buildings.
We would appreciate if guests would remove shoes at the front door. Sand from the beach lingers on shoes. Please do not rinse out sandy swimsuits in the unit as this could cause damage to the plumbing for the entire building. There are shower-off areas with hoses by the pool and beach access points that can be used for hosing off sandy items.
Safety First!! Ocean: Please look at the warning signs/flags out at the beach. If you see red flags, that means NO SWIMMING.
Can you put a tent on the beach? Modest tents/canopies are allowed on our beaches, included they are properly secured (tents over 200 ft & canopies over 400 ft need a permit). However, we strongly recommend that these structures are not left up overnight. Objects left on the beach overnight may interfere with nesting sea turtles and their hatchlings, and they also have a tendency to go missing when they are left unattended. In order to keep your visit safe and fun, we suggest that any structures be removed from the beach at nighttime.
Property is equipped with an external security camera at the entrance to our condo facing the entryway door.
Damages to property will be the responsibility of the guest.
The Area
Directly across the street you have condo access to a pier and day-dock to keep your boat on the Bogue Sound as well as park your trailer. If you bring your boat, there is a public boat launch one mile away. The condo is located less than 2 miles to “The Circle” with multiple bar and restaurant options. Known as the main “Town Beach” and located in the heart of the busy Atlantic Beach community, The Circle offers a myriad of ways to stay entertained, both on and off the sand. The condo is also a short drive to historic Fort Macon and the NC Aquarium. Just a short drive back across the bridge, the cozy towns of Morehead City and Beaufort offer stores and multiple dining options as well as water excursions and tours to Cape Lookout, Shackleford Banks, and Harkers Island.

Getting the best vacation rental experience:
How to get the best value:
- Reserve your Havelock vacation home in Fall or Spring months to enjoy gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Havelock vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
- Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacation rentals during holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner if your vacationing group qualifies for a discount.
- Booking websites often offer renters an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for additional information.
- Look for your local Havelock visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, travel guides have money saving offers on nearby restaurants, attractions, and tours.
Make a plan and pick yourrental:
- Choose your vacation week and budget.
- Decide how many beds and the bed configuration your family requires. Shore Beats Work! Direct Oceanfront Atlantic Beach Paradise has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rentals search.
- Precise information about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is generally available on booking websites. Otherwise, reach out to the property management company before you reserve the property. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
- If there's a certain Havelock beach you simply love, browse homes that are either close by, or those that cater to your requirements.
- Appropriate accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with disabilities. Make certain to inquire about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
- Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Ask your host before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Additional pet fees or charges might be applied to your agreement.
More tips for your visit:
- Review arrival and departure procedures before leaving home. Take a printed copy, and add a note with the directions to your phone.
- Upon arrival, note any damages to the rental property and immediately contact the owner. Keep records of all coorespondence.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, A/V setup or appliance. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief phone call can prevent a lot of issues.
- Be a good neighbor. Often times, adjacent homes are filled by local residents. Respecting noise limits and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can often point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
- Protect the owner (and your things!) by locking the property while you are gone, just like you would at home.
- Double-check every room of the rental property to confirm that you've packed all of your belongings at departure. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- After your trip, leave feedback! Hosts rely on great ratings to drive future bookings. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your experience find their best rental home. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to fix it.
