(There is also an upstairs studio apartment with a futon that is available for an additional fee if you need that additional space. The last 17 photos show the upstairs only). Downtown Beaufort Front Street is a five min. walk to all the stores and eateries you could ever need. There is also the waterfront to go boating, or take a ferry to some of the islands to savor the sites of the wild horses and striking shelling. Plenty of parking in the long driveway away from the street. Come and appreciate our calming and historic Crystal Coast.

How to get the best rental experience:
Find your perfect rental:
- The sooner you can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The best vacation homes are booked early. Reserving your rental property six to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental property.
- Summertime is the most expensive season in coastal NC. To find the largest rental home within budget, we suggest booking in the Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at your favorite restaurants and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Havelock vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
- Some owners offer promotional rates for veterans. Ask your property manager if special offers are available for your family before you book.
- Booking websites usually offer guests an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for additional information.
- Look for your local Havelock visitors guide magazine upon arrival. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, travel guides have coupons for local accommodations, restaurants and tours.
Planning and choosing the perfectvacation home:
- Select a designated group leader, select your dates, and select a maximum budget.
- Decide how many beds and the configuration your family requires. Temple Cottage - Walking distance to downtown has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
- Precise information about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is commonly accessible online. Otherwise, email the property owner before you book the home. Note that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which often includes pull out couches in living rooms.
- If your family is traveling with pets, you'll need to search for a property that allows animals. Request information on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Often, property owners charge additional pet fees.
- If there's a particular Havelock beach you crave, look for properties that are either nearby, or those that cater to your desires.
- Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Make certain to inquire about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
More considerations:
- Take a copy of the owner's phone number and entry/exit procedures for your rental.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, elevator or WIFI setup. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent a lot of difficulties.
- Lock your rental home while you're out and about. Protect your property!
- To ensure that damages are not linked to your stay, inspect the property for any problem areas upon your arrival. Speak to the rental manager right away to report any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be useful.
- Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll increase your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are often a great resource to find the best local scenic spots.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
- Double-check the property to confirm that you've packed all of your family's items on check-out day. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Did your group have a fantastic stay? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for travelers to provide comments. If your property and/or host was wonderful, they would love to hear it. If anything was amiss and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
