When you walk in the door, you will see this is not just a beach condo. It is also our family's beach home and you will find it so much more of a home than your standard beach rental! I have been visiting in Atlantic Beach for the past 30 years so please feel complimentary to ask any questions you have about the unit or area attractions. Prior to and during your stay, I will also be available by phone, text and e-mail to answer any questions you may have.
When you arrive at the condo, you will find suitcases carts and grocery shopping carts as well as an elevator to make moving into the condo simple and fast. There is a screened sitting area in the front and a separate laundry room that has a full size washer and dryer. The condo itself is newly painted and newly decorated. Luxury plank floor throughout with 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, completely equipped kitchen, separate wet bar, oceanfront screen porch off the living room and a separate oceanfront balcony off of the master bedroom. The master has a King size bed with a Queen bed in the 2nd bedroom along with a private half bathroom. The 3rd bedroom has a twin bunkbed and a Full size bed. The couch in the living room also pulls out into a full size bed. There is a sizable TV in the living room and TVs in all 3 Bedrooms as well as the kitchen bar area. All the TVs have cable as well as Roku sticks. WIFI is included. In the living room you will also find board games, playing cards, puzzles, DVDs, books, etc.
From the front door of our condo you are literally 30 seconds away from putting your toes on the beach!
At one end of our building is a picnic area with tables and charcoal grilles and at the other end is a swimming pool and gazebo overlooking the beach.
Underneath the condo is a storage room you will have access to which has two bicycles, beach chairs, umbrella, beach and pool toys, outdoor games for the kids (and the grown up kids) and fishing poles and tackle.
Directly across the street you have condo access to the pier and boatslips to keep your boat on the Bogue Sound as well as park your trailer. If you bring your boat, there is a public boat launch one mile away.
About the Area
Located in Atlantic Beach, this condo is on the beach. Hoop Pole Creek Nature Trail and Theodore Roosevelt Natural Area reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores and Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure Golf and Raceway. North Carolina Maritime Museum and Flatwaters Paddling are also worth visiting. Jet skiing and kayaking offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with cycling and ecotours nearby.

- Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules often become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families book their Summer rental homes during Winter holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager if your group qualifies for a discount.
- Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer their guests an option to add trip insurance protection. - Don't forget to... Ask a local! Neighbors can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to take kids for a treat, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
- Keep the property locked while you are out! Don't let crooks spoil your trip.
- Re-check every room of the vacation property to confirm that you've packed all of your belongings at check-out. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- Did your family have a wonderful stay? Most rental management companies make it easy for clients to provide comments. If your rental property and/or property manager was great, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was imperfect and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
