When to book a Havelock rental & When to go:

- In the Havelock area, The earlier you can book a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The best rental properties are reserved early. Booking your vacation property 6-12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental property.
- Some property managers offer special rates for active duty military and veterans. Check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your family.
- Property managers usually offer guests an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally will cost between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for details.
- Many property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Havelock area travel guides which often include money-saving deals, either offered directly by local companies, or by way of a partnership between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Havelock visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

If your property and/or property manager was terrific, they will likely appreciate your kind words.
