The Sandbar is a beautiful single-family home located just two tons from the ocean, offering unobstructed ocean vistas and direct beach access! Appreciate your own private pool (please note that it cannot be heated) and relax in this delightfully furnished space.

This roomy home features 4 bedrooms and 3 baths, with an open floor plan that provides ample comfortable seating for dining and calming while appreciating the ocean scenery. The completely equipped kitchen includes a refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, microwave, a breakfast bar with seating for 4, and a dining table for 8. Sleeping arrangements include: King • Queen • 2 Singles • Bunk Bed (Double-down and Double-up).

Stay entertained with 6 Intelligent TVs (YouTube TV supplied instead of cable), Wi-Fi, and appreciate the comfort of central air and heat, ceiling fans, a washer/dryer, and a cozy gas fireplace. Step outside to the furnished double decks with ocean vistas, accessible from three bedrooms and the great room.

The cavernous master suite features a private bath with double sinks, a separate shower, and a jetted tub. The top-floor bedroom also features a delightful ocean view and a private bath with a shower. The two bedrooms on the middle level share a centrally located full bath.

Additional amenities include an enclosed outdoor hot/cold shower, a gas grille, and the 12x20 private pool. There's carport parking, and you'll also find bicycles, body boards, pool floats, beach toys, puzzles, and games for additional fun!

Located in Emerald Isle, this vacation home is near the beach. When to visit & When to book:

  • Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rental homes during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer months are the most expensive season in the Havelock area. Book your rental property in Fall or Spring months to enjoy beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Booking websites typically offer their guests an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for more information.

  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, walk through the property to make sure you've collected everything. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the property a final time and look for any damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager isn't available, ensure that you take photos of the rental to record its condition.
